Points from Club Council:

] A donation of 225GBP has been received from West Cumbria Vintage Rally Club. This will be split equally with Castle.

] Howard Jeffrey Sports Foundation.  This will be set up jointly with other W. Cumbria clubs. It is thought that the ultimate target for the capital sum will be around 50K possible by saving increments of 2.5 k yearly. The interest on the capital would be used to pay out grants. This is in the very early stages. Ian Watson & David Saxon will represent the club and report on progress.

] Account No 1: 2795.41. Account No 2 1779.00.  There was a lively discussion over   fund raising, fund reporting and spending intentions.

] International: We hope to raise 400 GBP for a shelter box. It is hoped to have a brass band concert. The Normandy band which visits St Bees School may be approached to help.

] Christmas Ratty outing we hope to take 20-25 under privileged children with their parent /Guardian on the Ratty at Christmas. At the moment the cost is 11GBP per child/carer plus the cost of a present; probably 20GBP in total per child. Grand total 500GBP. Donald Brownrigg is having discussions with the Ratty to seek further reductions.
