Member’s Announcements:

Ronnie Proudfoot reminded the club of the Race Night on Friday 17.10.08 at Moresby Social Club. There are some tickets left. We will be looking for tellers on the night to man the betting tables. Harry Harper has agreed to auction the last race. Thanks to all who have already helped.

 

Anthony Payne notified the club of the next round of the Quiz competition. We have been drawn away to Workington Derwent. The match will be played during the last week of October; precise date TBA.

 

Sport. Harry Harper reported on last week’s meeting at Moresby Parks Social Club. All enjoyed the pies & peas. The winners of the competitions were: Darts Harry Harper, Pool Paul Berry & Dominos Geoff Burgess. A good night with a profit of 60GBP!

 

AOB: Geoff Burgess reminded President Gordon about the need to agree last year’s finances and also about the bag packing fund raiser.
