Youth Speaks: This will take place at Moresby Hall on Thursday 22.1.09 from 6.30 until 7. All welcome.
RC Cockermouth is holding a Big Band Dance at Hundith Hill on 19.2.09
Secretary’s Announcements:
RC W. Lakeland id holding a Burns Supper at the Red Admiral on Tuesday 27.1.09; names will be accepted until Saturday.
The Technology tournament will take place at Lilihall on Friday, 6.3.09. Volunteer stewar5ds still needed.
Donald Dixon has had further surgery but is well.
Inner Wheel is holding a St Valentine’s night on Saturday 14.2.09 at the Priory, St Bees. Cost 10GBP pp. Buffet supper and one glass of wine.
The Soroptimists are on the Fair Trade steering group and have invited us to join their effort. Fair Trade fortnight starts on 26.2.09

Ronnie Proudfoot: Some members have had difficulty opening the attachment containing the summary of club meetings. If you hear of anyone who is having difficulty please let Ronnie know. The problem seems to be that he is using Microsoft 2007 which cannot be read by some of the older programmes. We will set up a cascade system for those who cannot upgrade to receive these reports. Please note: David Saxon copies this report to the club website.
