Quiz Team: PP Anthony reported on the team’s win by 89-78 against Appleby. The team will play at home against Wigton in the quarter final. Date and venue TBA.
Indian Meal: PP Ronnie advised that this will take place on 21.4.08. Apologies for the mix up over the date: mea maxima culpa.
Sports: Harry Harper. The last DDP match of the season will be against Workington Derwent on 24.3.09. Harry is looking for players.
The snooker team narrowly lost 1-3 to Maryport.
Harry will be arranging an indoor bowls meeting. Please contact him if you are interested.
SPEAKER: Anthony Payne spoke eloquently on the High Technology School in Tanzania. The vote of thanks was given by President Gordon.
