Our DFO then went on to recount a story which had been scrutinized by Secretary David. This concerned an unfortunate Irish priest whose sins of pride, avarice perhaps gluttony led to envy in others. The resulting crime was the theft of a cockerel.  The priest gave way to wrath however his response was slothful resulting in confusion amongst his parishioners.  In the ensuing inquisition a variety of lustful practices was exposed. The lady guest speaker was highly amused by this tale of the seven deadly sins.
