President’s Announcements:

1] Kids Out , 10.6.09. 39 children are going. There will be 15 helpers including nine Rotarians. The bus will leave at 0915 and return at 1600.

2] Hog Roast: Discussion are taking placed to see whether an alternative to pork can be offered. Geoff Burgess advised that they were still looking for tombola prizes.

3] Margaret Stout is looking for sponsors for the midnight walk.

Secretary’s Announcements:

1] Bassenthwaite charter , 12.6.09. Branthwaite Institute. Hog roast

2] Midnight walk: 5.6.09. Support will be needed from 8pm onwards. Please report to Tesco car park if you are helping.

3] Vintage Car Rally: Help will be needed with the parking. Sunday,5.7.09.

Club Members:

Ian Watson [ for John Boag ]: The golf competition will take place on 20.6.09. You can still enter . John is still looking for prizes.

Club Assembly: A separate report will be sent out by President elect David Saxon.

Fellowship Officer: There were no fines. Richard then told a story about a wife who, after reflection, took a practical attitude to the failings of her husband.
