In lieu of a speaker this week V-P David (S) screened the dvd on Cross Fell Challenge in aid of the Rotary Shelter Box Appeal and in which David is participating. Some startling facts were revealed in this very worthwhile Rotary cause which provides shelter by way of tents, basic utensils and water purification in areas of national disaster anywhere in the world.

Club Draw: Won by PP John (K) on ticket number 508 who graciously donated the prize to David (S)'s Shelter Box sponsorship.

Fellowship Officer: Fined the Secretary for goodness knows what reason then told a tale in which the local police force dug the garden over for an old age pensioner.

Meeting Ended: The final toast was drank at 1350hrs.
