gave more details of the Food Festival.
Speaker: The two members of
the Miners’ Lamp Theatre Company gave a brief history of the company since its
foundation in 2001 to maintain use of the Cumbrian vernacular. They then portrayed a cast of thousands in
two excerpts from “The Cumbrian Macbeth” and a sketch called “Rural Ramble”.
