President’s Announcements: At the Food Festival, £131.52 was raised on the Saturday and £199.03 on the Sunday with the help of 18 Whitehaven and Castle Club members and partners and friends. The winning ticket is still to be drawn, possibly at a future meeting.

Council meets 12^th August, 7 pm, at Moresby Hall.

£230 received from Vintage Rally for help with car-parking, to be shared with Castle Club.

Secretarial Announcements

Charters: Whitehaven Castle (closing date 3.9), Carlisle Castle (6.9), Millom (10.9).

Thanks for Life Campaign: this is to be discussed at Council and the Club will be informed as to the way forward.

Club Members’ Announcements: PP Richard announced that 29^th September (5^th Tuesday) will be a trip to Energus at Workington, followed by a bar meal at the Royal Yew at Dean.
