Visits to Other Clubs: IPP Gordon mentioned the Race Night was an excellent night at Moresby Social, successful and well participated by Club members, may have raised over £1000.  Tom/Tony visit to 5 clubs in South Africa (see below)

President’s  Announcements: Meeting Changed 3rd November meeting changed to Lunchtime to enable RIBI president to visit. Speaker moved to 10th November (now evening meeting).  Further £50 chq passed on to the treasurer in respect of Shelterbox Challenge.

 

Secretarial Announcements

Charters:  Cockermouth Charter 13th November.  Donald Dixon will be having a further operation, he is going on Holiday and will be away from the Club for a short while.

 

Club Members’ Announcements:  Tom & Tony gave a brief outline of their 11 day RFE trip to South Africa, district 9270.  5 Clubs were visited, the oldest one being Pietermaritzburg which received its charter in 1925.  Other clubs in the district gave banners or greetings.
