Visits to Other Clubs: GB, GS, IH, TP, DS, BP visited the Christchurch Centre, Cockermouth to help the Red Cross. RS attended Westlakes Charter, which was beyond belief. GS, PB, GB, RC attended Cockermouth Charter, 101 attended; raised £600 for Cockermouth Flood Appeal.

 

Birthdays this Week: none

 

President’s  Announcements: Keswick Charter (5.1). SGM postponed to Tue 15th. Rota re Cockermouth Disaster Help is circulating. Council meeting is on Wed 16th, it will be an informal Dinner with only essential business being discussed. The night is for Fellowship. Partners welcome menu choice required.  Presidents Ball has been set for 10th April at Cleator Moore civic hall.  Young chef next Monday at St Benedict’s 4pm Rotarians welcome. Club Xmas dinner Tue 22nd (Now Evening meeting, usual time)

New membership form received from Mrs Carol Dyson, Council has discussed this and has passed the form on to Frank Todhunter who chairs the Information Committee, to meet with Carol and the proposer within the next two weeks.

Club Members’ Announcements:  VP Paul talked about the Energus lunch (16th) and Liars lunch (25th )

Sports: Mark advised of 4:0 Snooker win against Rotary Club of Silloth and that there is a games night next Tuesday against Maryport at Moresby Social, every one welcome
