Visits to Other Clubs: John Kennedy reported that the Energus lunch had been a great success, so much so that partakers had not wanted to go home.

 

Birthdays this Week: none

 

President’s  Announcements: Bag packing at Tesco had raised £580.87, which IPP Gordon rounded up to £600; the Council Dinner at Moresby Hall had raised £280; the Raffle held during the Christmas Dinner raised £100.

 Cliff Delamere will not be going out over Christmas and would welcome visitors: it was suggested that John Messenger would coordinate a rota, so that Cliff would not get overtired.

 

Secretarial Announcements:  Keswick Charter (last call 5.1).  Rotary cookery books will be delivered in the New Year.

 

Club Members’ Announcements: VP Paul asked all helpers at Cleator Moor on Christmas Day to be there by 11.30 a.m.  Secretary Anthony, who had provided a Very Easy quiz for entertainment, read out the answers: as in Alice’s Caucus Race, everyone won.

 

Business: Christmas Dinner.
