Visits to Other Clubs: Tom Milburn, David and Val Ellison and Bob and Avril Wright had attended the West Lakeland Burns Night.  Harry Harper had attended a meeting of the Maryport Club in aid of the Howard Jeffrey Appeal.

President’s  Announcements: VP Paul reminded the Club of the Ladies’ Night Dinner Dance on Sat 20th Feb at 7 for 7.30: £19.00, three menu choices.

 

Secretarial Announcements:  Ulverston Charter 10th March, menu choice, last call 23rd Feb;

 

Club Members’ Announcements  Mark Harrison announced that the Club’s sportsmen beat Silloth 16-8: snooker next Tuesday away at Maryport and at home on Wed 17th v. Workington Derwent.

Richard Stout had attended the very well attended funeral of Alan Grey at Gosforth.
