Visits to Other Clubs: Sec Anthony had attended a 40s night organised by the Soroptimists in St Bees as part of the Priory Singers  -  the evening had raised £600. 

IPP Gordon, VP Paul, PP Richard Stout and Tony Parker had attended the Conference in Glasgow.

President’s  Announcements: Maggie and Mike Graham are organising a walk round Buttermere at 2 pm on April 24th in memory of their son and to raise funds for the hospital and the carers: the money raised at the President’s Ball will also go to these causes.

Pres David will send details of the money raised at the Tesco Thanks for Life event to District.

Census 2011 needs assistants and has contacted Rotary Clubs as their members are the ideal people to help: details at www.censusjobs.co.uk.

 

Secretarial Announcements:  Maryport Charter 19th March, last call TODAY; Kendal Charter 21st April, menu choice, last call 6th April (ACP away thereafter); Appleby Charter 16th April, menu choice, last call 6th April; Furness Peninsula Charter 9th April, last call 30th March; Technology Tournament at Lillyhall on Friday from 10 am  -  no details about helpers but lookers-in no doubt welcome.
