C Hospital but doing fine and should be out on Wed and back home. (He is
currently on Jenkin Ward - first section on left nearest window.)
- Proceeds
from President’s Ball are to go towards Epilepsy Research and W C Hospital.
- Letter
received from Lodge 8113 expressing appreciation of support for their
Ladies’ night.
- Letter
received from Tesco confirming suitability of 8th May for
“blood pressure day”. Geoff Burgess and Ronnie Proudfoot will require
support.
- Ladies’
Night finalised for Frid 28th May @ Lyzzick Hall. 20 places
reserved. Transport by members cars. Special ladies to be invited. Last
call next week.

Berry advised that the President’s Ball (10th April) had been
very successful and raised £980. Members from Lions and Masons had also attended.
- Gordon
Southward
confirmed that arrangements for Kids Out on 11th June are in
hand.
- Discussion
was held regarding the regional final for Young Chef recently held in N Wales.

Officer:
Since
no joke was initially forthcoming from the Fellowship Officer, Paul Berry
offered one with an Irish flavour which provoked the FO into responded with a
Geordie offering.
