Minutes of the previous SGM : were approved.

 

Any Matters Arising: The HJSF was being dealt with by Ian Watson: applications were coming in and funds were being handed out: the Club will be contributing, for example, the proceeds of the Golf Tournament will go to the HJSF.

The Charitable Trust was to be transferred to the No 2 A/C  -  this will be raised with the Treasurer.

 

Election of Club President  -  Paul Berry was unanimously elected to serve as President of the Rotary Club of Whitehaven for the Rotary year 2010-11.

Accounts: Both Nº 1 (General) and Nº 2 (Charity) accounts for the Rotary Year ending 30th June 2009 (appended) were circulated having been scrutinised by PHF Tom. These were approved: it was pointed out that IPP Gordon had donated an additional £500 to Annie Mawson’s charity.

 

Election of Voting Delegate (2): Paul Berry and Harry Harper: deputies Anthony Payne & Tony Parker.  These were elected unanimously.

 

Any Nominations for Officers of R I B I ?: Tom Stout has been proposed for the International Committee.
